For GST-registered companies, registration is not the end of compliance. Based on its business model, a company must apply GST correctly to its sales, purchases, imports, cross-border services and other transactions in each accounting period, and file GST returns with IRAS on time.

GST quarterly filing deadlines

Singapore businesses file quarterly by default (monthly or half-yearly filing is possible with approval). The standard filing and payment deadline is one calendar month after the end of each accounting period:

If you pay by GIRO, the deduction is made on the 15th of the month after the filing deadline. Other payment methods (PayNow QR, internet banking transfer, telegraphic transfer, etc.) must be completed by the filing deadline.
