Note 1
Per Singapore’s FY2022 Budget, a VCC Grant Scheme was launched by MAS to co-fund qualifying expenses paid to Singapore-based service providers for work done in Singapore, in relation to the incorporation or registration of a VCC. Per MAS's announcement on 13 January 2023, items that qualifying for co-funding include legal fees, VCC registration fees, tax planning fees, compliance fees, etc, and the funding level for this subsidy is 30% co-funding of qualified expenses, capped at $30,000 per VCC. The VCC Grant Scheme is effective until 15 January 2025 (subsequent possible extension of VCC Grant Scheme is not included)。In addition, VCC also enjoys various tax incentives in Singapore for its subsequent operation. Note 2
Fund secretary services are for funds and sub-funds, which are add-on services for fund administration services and will require separate charges. The scope of fund secretary covers what fund is generally expected to require during its daily operation, which excludes fees paid to third parties and surcharges arising from special needs.
Note 3
Our provision of comprehensive corporate services to fund managers includes:
- book-keeping and financial report preparation
- MAS regulatory report preparation
- coordinate with auditors on annual fund audit
- income tax calculation and filing for fund manager
- fund manager’s secretary/compliance service, etc. Of which, we will engage third-party partners to jointly provide compliance services for fund managers, which includes fund compliance manual, compliance monitoring and ongoing support, compliance training, compliance review, KYC/AML services, etc.
Please noted that the above services are add-on services to fund administration services and will require separate charges.

Our quotations for the above-mentioned services will be comprehensively considered based on the type of the fund, the investment type of the fund, and the frequency of the required internal/external reporting. Our quotations are strictly subject to internal approval to ensure the appropriateness of the quoted prices. At the same time, we also strictly abide by the privacy policy published on this website. The above-mentioned service is only based on material provided by the fund manager. Fund manager instead of EStar Business should be responsible for the completeness, existence and accuracy of the material provided to EStar Business. If additional efforts (i.e. overtime working, extra fees, etc.) incurred by EStar Business due to fund manager’s untimely provision of material or non-compliance with the requirements, EStar Business will charge overrun fee for such additional efforts incurred.
