Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)
ACRA provides a one-stop shop to customers by the integration of e-services with multiple agencies such as the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), Enterprise Singapore and Singapore Government Network Information Centre (SGNIC).

 

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) is the main tax administrator to the Government. IRAS collect taxes that account for about 70% of the Government's Operating Revenue, supporting Singapore's economic and social programmes to achieve quality growth and an inclusive society. IRAS represent the Government in tax treaty negotiations, draft tax legislations and provide advice on property valuation to the Government. Beyond tax collection, IRAS supports the Government in disbursing various support grants to enterprises.

 

Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board
CPF is a comprehensive social security savings plan which provides many working Singaporeans with a sense of security and confidence in their old age.

Tote Board
The Tote Board oversees the operations of the Singapore Turf Club and Singapore Pools (Private) Limited and ensures that horse racing and all forms of betting and gaming operated by the two entities are conducted with honesty and integrity.

 

Unique Entity Number (UEN)for all entities registered in Singapore
From 1 January 2009, all entities that are registered in Singapore, such as businesses, local companies, limited liability partnerships (LLPs), societies, representative offices, healthcare institutions and trade unions, will have a Unique Entity Number (UEN) as its identification number. UEN shall be for registered entities as NRIC is for Singapore citizens.

UEN replaces all other identification numbers issued by different government agencies, including IRAS, and should be used for interaction with government agencies. Find out more about  UEN.
